Alexis Kantor is the VP of Apparel and Accessories Product Development and leads a team of over 100 people based in Target Headquarters. The team’s mission is to develop Target’s owned brand products that deliver exceptional guest experiences. Through continuous innovations, technology, research, body size studies, construction standards and in collaboration with our designers, vendors, merchants and sourcing partners, the product development team focuses on ensuring quality, fit, function and value for the guest.

Nancy Lyons is a CEO, entrepreneur, and all around good human who speaks about the intersection of leadership, entrepreneurialism, technology, and people. Through her candid writing and speaking, she explores the many facets of life at work and champions human-centered approaches to business. Seeing work and the culture of work as the next economic frontier, she pushes the progressive boundaries of how we think about professional and personal lives.


She serves as the Chair of the National Board of Directors at The Family Equality Council, is on the Board of Trustees at Minnesota Public Radio and American Public Media, on the advisory board for American Public Media’s Marketplace, is on the Open Twin Cities Advisory Board, and is a member of the advisory board for the innovative entrepreneurial conference, Giant Steps. She is also a member of the Women’s Presidents Organization and the Minnesota Women’s Economic Round Table.

PATRICK TROSKA

Executive Director , The Jay & Rose Phillips Family Foundation of Minnesota

Patrick Troska has been with The Jay and Rose Phillips Family Foundation of Minnesota for 16 years, and was named Executive Director in January 2011. In addition to providing leadership for the Foundation’s overall strategy, he also has primary responsibility for grantmaking and initiatives for the Foundation’s funding strategies in the areas of housing and transit. During his tenure with the Foundation, he first served as a Program Officer, before being promoted to Senior Program Officer with responsibilities to oversee all aspects of the Foundation’s annual grantmaking program. In the late 1990’s, he was a Fund Distribution and Community Initiatives Manager for the United Way of the Saint Paul Area. Patrick began his career in youth services where he held several positions with the Catholic Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, and Minnesota Children's Museum. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in theology and social work from St. John's University in Collegeville MN, and holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. In June 2009 he completed a fellowship in public policy at the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs. He chaired the board of directors of the Minnesota AIDS Project from 2010-12. Patrick currently resides in Minneapolis, MN.

Marcus Waterbury is the Senior Vice-President at The Waterbury Group at Morgan Stanley. Marcus has been with Morgan Stanley for over 22 years focusing on values based financial planning, estate planning strategies, and retirement planning. Marcus Waterbury has served board chair of the National Center for Transgender Equality , which co-authored the National Transgender Discrimination Survey.
